Ahem. Wow, this is seriously one of the best portraits I've seen of me (if I may say so myself). It looks so real... You should be a comission artist, I bet you'd have loads of people begging you to draw their portraits.

I really appreciate it It's not very often that any pencil artwork gets love on this site, so i'm kind of on the losing end of the art spectrum

I've been drawing since i was really little, but i actually started trying to develop my skills around 4th or 5th grade. I read comic books as a kid and i would copy the characters from them (mostly X-men). If you look in my gallery you can see that all my women still have really big boobs and they're all pretty no matter what Those are the aftereffects of teaching myself to draw with comic books
More recently, i took my first drawing class in college last semester (sucks that it was my very last semester as an undergrad b/c i would love to take more) and i think it helped me improve a lot. I may try to do more art classes during graduate school but i don't know how lenient my department will be about me taking classes outside my degree program (or if i'll even have time for an extra class).
